After yesterday I wanted a quiet relaxing day so we drove out to the wildlife loop again. I still had carrots and bread for the begging donkeys which we hadn't seen the day before. It was another beautiful day. There was another off road we wanted to take since the first one had been so pretty. It is called 4 Mile draw road. This goes though a area of the park that has been burned a few years back. It was interesting to see the new growth. It was another narrow road and I was glad no traffic as trying to turn around would have been difficult. To get to the lookout we did some hiking. My lungs feel damaged today but I wanted pictures. I still keep getting these coughing spells and my chest is very sore today.
When we got home Rick grilled another steak. I made red potatoes again and asparagus. We had sour dough bread. We ate on the deck and discussed what we would do after this. This was our last night in the cabin. I had 2 weeks off left. Where should we go next?
